Just north of Cedar City Utah is Brianhead Ski Resort. The 2023 ski season has been a standout and the central Utah resort received more snow than any other resort in the state. Although lacking a resort style shopping village the town of Brianhead welcomes the dedicated traveler with a locals only style not present at the major resorts long overtaken by investors and the development machine.
One mountain is solely beginner and intermediate while the other boasts beginner through advanced terrain. The digs at the Brianhead lodge were a welcome respite from the long day on the slope.
Truly the greasiest snow on earth!
